- December: Initial physical fitness test for the first cohort (95 cadets).
- December: Launch of the Physical Fitness Programme at ZMU.

Physical Training
Physical training is a cornerstone of cadet development at Zayed Military University. The programme is designed to enhance both physical and mental resilience through intensive exercises such as weightlifting, obstacle course training, swimming, functional strength workouts, military equipment handling, and regular fitness assessments. This training improves overall fitness, fosters a spirit of discipline and challenge, and incorporates competitive sports as part of a holistic training system.

Combat Skills
Jiu-Jitsu
All cadets are required to learn and practice combat skills, including Jiu-Jitsu, during training sessions and competitions. This develops physical readiness, enhances combat skills, and cultivates a competitive mindset within a structured and disciplined environment.

Sports Clubs
Zayed Military University offers a variety of sports and recreational activities, providing cadets opportunities to engage with peers in different settings. Participation in sports supports a healthy lifestyle and contributes to maintaining a balanced daily routine that combines academics and military training.
Sports activities include football, volleyball, basketball, running, swimming, triathlon, cycling, adventure training (water-based activities), adventure training (rock climbing and rappelling), Jiu-Jitsu, strength and conditioning workouts, military skills and marksmanship, and obstacle course racing.
